I wrote "Leaving for Telos" in memory of my brother who passed away last year. He was a great Beatles fan and had recently bought the re-mastered 50th anniversary Abbey Road album. The B side was in my mind, specifically what is affectionately called "The Long One". I had envisioned us sitting back when we were old on my back porch talking about when we were young, which is not meant to be. So in honor of this I tied these two songs together as they are presented on the album. It can only be heard here as they will be played separately on the radio.
